Utensils made from wood are possibly the most long standing tools known to mankind. Wood utensils are both strong and versatile while also being soft and gentile. The strength of a wood or bamboo utensil allows you to mix, stir, flip and poke just about anything and yet is soft enough that it is very unlikely to scratch or damage your pots and pans. Given their strength, wood utensils are also fairly lightweight compared to their metal counterparts.
