1. How many utensils will they need?
If you aren’t so sure if your little one will love helping in the kitchen then maybe it’s not the best idea to go all in and buy the largest Child Cooking Set available on the market. Perhaps easing in to this adventure would be the best option for your little baker. Starting with a smaller set and moving up as your child shows more interest may be the best way to go about it.
2. How old is your young baker?
Not all Jr. Cooking sets are created equal. Some sets are for ages 4 and up while others are for ages 6 and up. Buying a Jr. Cooking Kit for a child that is recommended for an age older than they currently are may result in them not being able to properly using the utensils. If they can’t use the tools then they may loose interest. Let’s get the right tool for the job here and help to encourage our young bakers to learn and grow.
3. Color and design of utensils?
Similar to adult kitchen utensils, these kitchen utensils come in a wide variety of colors and designs. Be mindful of your child’s favor color as well as their hand size when searching for the best option to buy for child size baking kits.
